Technical Engineering Manager - Cloud & Infra

What are you going to do?

As the Technical Engineering Manager for the Bravo Team in our TechOps department, you’ll lead a group of skilled engineers specializing in VMware, AWS, Networking, and Linux. You’ll use your technical and leadership skills to guide the team in automating, developing, and maintaining stable platforms. Together with the Product Owner for Cloud Solutions, you’ll shape the team’s direction and bring strategy to life.

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

• Leading a team of 10 engineers, handling technical performance and HR matters.
• Partnering with the Product Owner for Cloud Solutions to set goals and ensure they’re achieved.
• Holding development meetings with team members every eight weeks to keep everyone growing.
• Working closely with other teams in TechOps to ensure smooth collaboration and great results.
• We ensure our platforms deliver the best possible service to our customers while remaining true to Triple’s mission to inspire and impress.

The team

The Technology Operations (TechOps) department is home to around 40 engineers, and the Bravo Team is an essential part of it. We’re focused on growing our AWS expertise and delivering reliable solutions that make an impact. As a manager, you’ll guide your team through challenges and help individuals thrive. You’ll also work closely with the Service Coordinator to keep things running smoothly.

What do you bring with you?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work and thinking level;
• Leadership experience (for example, as a Senior Engineer, Team Lead, or Project Manager);
  
• You have a passion for DevOps automation;
• Knowledge and experience with AWS, specifically CloudFormation, Lambda, and RDS;
• Experience with AWS automation and CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodeX and Azure DevOps);
• Naturally, you are fluent in both spoken and written English and Dutch.
