Internship Marketing & Communications

Team Gullit is the world's first EA FC/FIFA academy, founded by Triple and Ruud Gullit. It scouts promising talent and turns them into the best EA FC players in the world by providing training, coaching, and mental support. The team is currently one of the biggest in the competitive EA FC circuit, with a community of over 1,100,000 young fans. Team Gullit is a world champion, eChampions League winner, and home to Levi de Weerd and Emre Yilmaz.

What you'll be doing
As a Communications/Marketing Intern, you will be fully integrated into Team Gullit. We focus on improving the skills of FIFA/EA FC players and connecting significant brands like Philips and Red Bull with a young and hard-to-reach audience. Your role will be crucial in helping us achieve these goals!

You, Maarten (Head of Team Gullit), and Jelle (Head of Social Media) will be responsible for all partner deliverables, creating social media content, and maintaining visibility and growth. We will customize tasks to align with our goals and your skills.

You are someone who is constantly scrolling through your timeline, knows all there is to know about Instagram, and enjoys playing a few matches on your PlayStation after school or work. You are proactive, creative, and eager to learn. We work with a small, dynamic team, so independence and flexibility are essential. If you are unfamiliar with 433 or Twitch during your job interview, we don’t think there’s a match.

What to expect

• Structured Learning & Development
  Your internship begins with an introduction to the Team Gullit squad and a roadmap for the next five months. You'll work closely with your mentor—an expert in communications or social media—who will guide you through various projects, challenge your creativity, and provide ongoing feedback to help you grow in your role.
• Hands-On Experience
  At Team Gullit, interns are vital players. You’ll take on significant responsibilities, create impactful content for our social media channels, and collaborate with top brands like Philips and Red Bull. This is your opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic environment and contribute to connecting significant brands with a young, hard-to-reach audience.
• Collaborative Projects
  You won’t just be working solo; you’ll join forces with team members on exciting projects. From creating social media content to developing brand strategies, you’ll be involved in every stage of the process. You might even see your work implemented in high-profile campaigns if it stands out.
• Innovation & Creativity
  We love innovative ideas and encourage you to think outside the box. If you have a unique concept, we’ll support you with the resources and guidance to bring it to life. Previous interns have developed creative social media campaigns and engaged with our community in unique ways, impacting our brand’s presence.

What do you bring with you?

• You are pursuing a relevant Bachelor's degree and are looking for an internship or graduation project;
• You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, and good writing skills are a big plus;
• Ideally, you have been playing FIFA/EA FC (Ultimate Team) for years and know what’s happening in the FIFA/EA FC community;
• You are looking for an internship starting in February 2025;
• Experience with Photoshop/Premiere Pro is a plus but not essential.
