Freelance Senior Technical Data Analyst

We are looking for a freelance Senior Technical Data Analyst to join our team as soon as possible until the end of the year. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in advanced analytics with a strategic mindset to interpret insights and communicate clearly to clients and stakeholders. You should be ready to take ownership of data projects and help establish a data-driven culture across our teams.

• Analytics Expert: Proven ability to gather, interpret, and visualize user data to inform decisions, measure impact, and optimize performance.

• Strategic Thinker: Strong business acumen to translate data insights into actionable recommendations that align with client and stakeholder goals.

• Infrastructure Builder: Experience designing and maintaining data infrastructure in collaboration with engineers, ensuring reliable tooling, dashboards, and data access.

• Experimentation Leader: Skilled in setting up and leading optimization initiatives such as A/B testing and CRO.

• Collaborator & Communicator: Comfortable working closely with creative, product, marketing, development, and client teams to align data strategies with execution.

• Innovator: Brings curiosity, a forward-looking mindset, and the ability to apply the latest digital tools, analytics, and AI solutions to improve performance.

What you’ll do

• Create KPI frameworks, linking data to business goals and management questions.

• Implement analytics tooling, build dashboards, and ensure scalable and reliable access to data.

• Lead experimentation and optimization programs (A/B testing, CRO) to drive measurable improvements.

• Partner with stakeholders across disciplines to integrate data-driven thinking into every project.

• Stay current with emerging tools and AI trends to push innovation in data and performance optimization.

Key technical strengths we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Business Intelligence.

• Hands-on expertise with GA4, GTM, BigQuery, and SQL for large datasets.

• Experience with CRO and testing tools (VWO preferred, Optimizely, or Google Optimize).

• Skilled in dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
