Freelance Senior Project Manager

At code d’azur, we’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to take the lead on the App & KPI Workstream for one of our clients. This role requires a self-starter with strong stakeholder management skills, capable of turning abstract ideas into actionable plans and driving execution across internal teams: someone who can deliver an abstract idea from concept to delivery.

The focus is on UX strategy, content strategy, content design, and KPI implementation, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience while placing less emphasis on app development. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of UX, content, and KPI frameworks, promoting cross-team collaboration and ensuring accountability among Product Owners.

This is a high-impact role for a proactive, results-driven leader who can advocate, pitch ideas, and push initiatives forward, execution, and cross-functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Translate high-level objectives and ideas into detailed, actionable project plans with clear milestones and deliverables.

• Delivery management: Deliver a project from concept to execution and guide this process step by step with all teams involved.

• Stakeholder Management: Engage and influence cross-functional teams, including UX, content, product management, data & analytics, and senior leadership.

• KPI Framework Execution: Drive the development of a comprehensive KPI framework across all digital touchpoints to support business goals.

• Process Improvement: Identify and remove roadblocks, streamline project workflows, and drive alignment across teams.

• Accountability Management: Ensure the Product Owner delivers on key responsibilities and fill in gaps where necessary.

• Advocacy & Influence: Lobby to get ideas come to life, and decisions to keep the project moving at pace.

We’re looking for a results-driven professional to help us push the boundaries of digital innovation. You have experience in defining and implementing KPI frameworks that drive product performance and can seamlessly integrate them into agile workflows. Working closely with our product and design teams, you ensure clear insights and a strong strategic vision for every decision.

You excel in a fast-paced environment where prioritization, problem-solving, and independent decision-making are essential. Your communication and negotiation skills empower you to advocate for impactful changes while keeping teams aligned. As a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, you simplify complexity into clarity, ensuring effective collaboration and execution. Data is central to everything we do. You’re comfortable using insights, performance metrics, and user behavior to drive ongoing optimization and enable smarter decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of project or product management experience.

• Available for at least 32 hours per week

• Proven experience managing mobile app projects, UX strategy, and content development within a fast-paced organization.

• Understanding of CX principles, user behavior analytics, and content strategy frameworks.

• Strong background in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
