Freelance Product Designer

We are looking for a skilled and passionate freelance Product Designer with excellent UI, design system and motion skills to support our team in delivering high-quality, scalable, and visually polished experiences. This role is focused on designing intuitive and elegant user interfaces for mobile apps within the fintech space, ensuring consistency, innovation, and impact across projects.

What we need

• Proven experience designing for mobile applications in the fintech sector.

• Strong background in building and maintaining design systems, with a deep understanding of component-based design.

• Ability to bring interfaces to life through micro-interactions and motion design that enhance usability and delight.

• Skilled in Figma; familiarity with tools like Storybook, Zeroheight, and Tokens Studio is a strong plus.

• A systems thinker with attention to detail, ensuring clarity, consistency, and scalability in design.

What you’ll do

• Design and evolve mobile app experiences with a focus on usability and innovation.

• Build and maintain scalable UI design systems and component libraries.

• Define and document design patterns to ensure consistent usage across products.

• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless handoff and execution.

• Use motion design to elevate interactions and craft engaging user journeys.

• Hours per week: 40 hours

• Location: Amsterdam (working on-site 3 days per week)
