Freelance Technical Data Consultant

Are you passionate about data, insights, and digital performance? Do you thrive in agile environments and love bridging the gap between business goals and technical implementation? We’re looking for a Technical Data Consultant / Technical Data Analyst to join our team!

In this role, you’ll help clients become truly data-driven by designing intelligent measurement strategies, establishing scalable data infrastructures, and transforming complex data into actionable insights. You combine a hands-on mentality with strategic thinking and are not afraid to challenge assumptions using facts and figures.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, maintain, and optimize measurement plans and logical data models

• Help clients define what to measure and explain why it matters

• Translate business needs into clear KPI frameworks and information requirements

• Implement and work with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Conviva DPI

• Validate tracking setups to ensure reliable, high-quality data

• Build dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, and Looker Studio tailored to various team needs

• Set up and manage datasets in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and connect marketing data sources (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads)

• Conduct analysis of user behavior, trends, anomalies, and campaign performance

• Support A/B testing and qualitative research (e.g., online surveys)

• Turn insights into actionable recommendations for improving UX, features, and performance

What we are looking for

• Strong analytical and technical mindset

• Experience in data consultancy or data analytics

• Familiarity with agile/scrum ways of working

• Fluent in Dutch (or comfortable in a Dutch-speaking environment)

• Proactive, curious, and communicative
