Assistant Business Controller

At Hypersolid, we’re looking for an analytical and proactive Assistant Business Controller to strengthen our finance team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Business Controller and the broader finance team to translate financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across multiple companies — including Triple and code d’azur.

As part of Hypersolid’s finance organization, you’ll operate in a dynamic, international environment. With offices in the Netherlands, the USA, and Poland, our group spans borders and industries. Your insights will play a key role in steering strategic decisions and driving sustainable growth across our portfolio of innovative companies.

You’ll work two days per week from our Alkmaar office and one day from our Amsterdam office.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with the Business Controller and the finance team to enhance the accuracy, consistency, and usability of financial reporting.

• Model and analyze financial and non-financial data using systems like Productive and consolidation tools like Lucanet.

• Streamline internal reporting processes and continuously improve the quality of insights.

• Prepare and optimize monthly financial reports and ad-hoc analyses that support business needs.

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights to (senior) leadership.

What You’ll Bring

• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in a finance, reporting, or business controlling role.

• Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI and Lucanet is a plus.

• An analytical mindset and sharp attention to detail.

• Curiosity and a drive to continuously improve processes and outcomes.

• The ability to communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

• A proactive, structured, and collaborative working style.

• Fluency in both English and Dutch.
